Charles Leclerc on Monza pole for Ferrari after Mercedes misjudgment

• Lewis Hamilton (2nd) and Valtteri Bottas (3rd) miss last chance
• Sebastian Vettel in fourth for F1 Italian Grand Prix

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc will start Sunday’s Italian Grand Prix on pole position after finishing fastest in qualifying at Monza. Leclerc delighted the Ferrari fans by roaring to pole position for Sunday’s Italian Grand Prix but there was frustration for Lewis Hamilton as he was too late to have a final flying lap. His Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas also missed out.

Leclerc delivered another impressive performance to see off Hamilton by 0.039sec and claim his second pole in two weeks, the third of his career.
